Course Outline

The Daoist Framework

A clear breakdown of the Daoist path: Qigong builds energy awareness, Neigong transforms that energy, and Tai Chi applies it. The lesson shows the full progression from physical energy to expanded consciousness, and teaches how to train these principles efficiently without cultural baggage.

Partner Fundamentals

This lesson teaches how to establish a real energetic connection with a training partner by merging awareness, energy, and body mechanics into one process. Students learn to dissolve physical separation, extend awareness into another person’s structure, and use intention rather than force to influence movement. It sets the foundation for transmitting Jin, sensing Qi, and applying all the intrinsic energies effectively.

Ward Off

This lesson explores Ward Off (Peng) as an electric, repelling force—how to embed the right information into energy, connect through awareness, and move a partner without physical intent. Students learn to apply Peng across Jin, Qi, and Shen, use it as a measurement tool for internal skill, and understand how this energy functions both in training and in everyday energetic protection.

Roll Back

This lesson explores Rollback as the magnetic counterpart to Ward Off (Peng)—learning to feel and influence a partner’s center of mass, balance, and center of gravity. You train inviting, attractive force through Jin, Qi, and Shen, building the mental flexibility to redirect incoming force and apply magnetism beyond martial contexts.

Press

This lesson trains Press as a compression–release force—learning to compress a partner’s base and rebound energy back through their structure with minimal visible movement. You develop sensitivity to intent and balance, apply the “micro movement, macro effect” principle, and explore how Ji can return force in martial contexts and be used as a precise energetic tool in everyday life.

Push Down

This lesson trains An as a downward, sinking force—using an opponent’s upward or compressive intent to capture their balance and send it into the ground. You learn to yield, create space, then sink their Yi, energy, and mass with precise timing, and explore how this applies in clinch work, takedown defense, and dynamic push-hands where structure is constantly changing.

Pluck

This lesson covers Pluck as an upward, extracting force—using contrast to compress a partner’s base and draw their balance, intent, or force upward. You learn to distinguish between affecting Jin, Qi, and Yi, making the technique increasingly subtle, and develop clear directional intent so you can “pluck” force or balance from any position or movement.

Split

This lesson develops Split as a force-dividing energy—learning to separate a partner’s force, balance, or intent into two directions so they lose structural unity. You train to make the split energetic rather than physical, explore how to separate Yi from force to break patterns, and apply this skill in push-hands, clinch work, timing games, and everyday interactions where redirecting attention is useful.

Shoulder

This lesson trains Shoulder Stroke as a whole-body wave of mass and energy, learning to remove a partner’s reference points and drive force through their structure. You practice aligning to their central axis, opening your joints for clean transmission, and applying the stroke through Jin, Qi, and Shen—from physical rebound to astral power to intent-level influence. The focus is on using principle, not brute force, so the body becomes free, connected, and highly responsive.

Elbow

This lesson develops Elbow Stroke as an internal release of force, not a shove. You learn to connect your elbow to the ground through a unified line, open the joints for clean Jin transmission, and then refine it through Qi (astral) and Shen (intent) states. The training teaches you to remove a partner’s reference points, send energy through an “invisible” internal wave, and work with structure, balance, and intent separately. The result is an elbow mechanic that is powerful, subtle, and fully principle-driven.

Sticking

This lesson trains how to adhere to a partner’s structure, force, or intent using magnetism rather than physical grabbing. You learn to perceive their whole frame, find the center of tension, and “stick” to it with your awareness so they can’t withdraw or escape. The training moves from structural sticking, to sticking to force, to sticking to Yi—developing precision, clarity of intent, and the ability to stay on the leading edge of their movement.

Seizing

This lesson teaches how to freeze a partner’s structure, force, or intent so they can’t generate power or escape. You learn to first create the seizing quality in your own body—condensing everything into the core—then reproduce that same contraction in your partner through awareness, magnetism, and precise intent. Seizing gives you an immediate “bridge” even when someone goes soft or evasive, making every other Tai Chi energy easier to apply.

Pre-Lim Skills | Opening & Connecting

This lesson lays the foundation for all Tai Chi energies. You learn how to open your joints, expand your awareness, and feel energy inside and outside the body, then replicate that openness in a partner. From there, you train true connection—linking your fascia lines, energy, and intent to theirs so both bodies move as one unified circuit. Mastering opening and connecting makes every intrinsic energy more precise, responsive, and effortless.

Pre-Lim Skills | Listening & Translating

This lesson builds the skill of perceiving a partner’s intent, force, and structure without reacting. You learn to open your awareness, observe their energy as it is, and separate listening from doing. From there, you practice translating what you feel—distinguishing Yi, tension lines, and physical structure—so you can understand the causal chain behind their movement. This clarity lets you intercept, redirect, or influence energy with precision instead of guesswork.

Pre-Lim Skills | Managing & Transforming

This lesson shows how to interact with a partner’s force, structure, and intent after you’ve opened, connected, listened, and translated. You learn how to manage incoming force by absorbing it through open joints and fascia, then transform it through the three phases—Jin (life force), Qi (astral), and Shen (mind-substance). The focus is on shifting energy states without losing awareness or connection, so you can redirect, neutralize, or amplify force with precision and minimal effort.

Pre-Lim Skills | Following

This lesson reframes “following” from traditional push-hands ideas. Instead of chasing your partner’s movement, you learn to make their mind, force, and structure follow you. After opening, connecting, and transforming, you guide their energy into the direction or quality you choose—light, sinking, expanding, or changing angles. Following becomes an act of leading: you redirect their intent so they unconsciously track your direction, not the other way around.

Pre-Lim Skills | Sticking

This lesson trains the true Tai Chi sticking skill — magnetizing your partner’s structure, force, or intent so they stay connected to you no matter how they move. You learn to lock onto their frame, the center of their tension, or the origin of their intent, using conscious awareness and refined sensitivity rather than physical gripping. As your skill grows, sticking becomes lighter, more subtle, and increasingly mental, allowing you to influence their movement with minimal contact.

Pre-Lim Skills | Seizing

This lesson expands on seizing as a way to capture your partner’s center so they can’t move or generate force. After following and sticking, you lock onto the core tension that keeps them standing, then condense it into one point—freezing their structure and intent. Seizing gives you a stable “handle” to work with, especially when someone goes soft or evasive, and allows any issuing energy to land with clarity and power.

Follow, Stick, Seize Sequence

This lesson breaks down how following, sticking, and seizing link together as a functional progression. You learn to follow a partner’s intent or force without resistance, then stick by magnetizing to their structure or tension line, and finally seize—capturing their center so they can’t generate or escape force. Once the relationships are built, each energy becomes accessible on demand, allowing you to capture, neutralize, or issue power with clarity no matter who you’re working with.

Pre-Lim Skills | Yield & Neutralise

This lesson shows how to transform incoming force after follow–stick–seize. You learn to yield by absorbing the partner’s force without collapsing, then neutralise by releasing all structural tension so your center becomes stable, empty, and untouchable. With your partner seized and your own structure neutral, you’re primed to issue power cleanly. Yielding and neutralising restore total equilibrium, letting you convert pressure into usable energy instead of reacting or resisting.

Pre-Lim Skills | Sink & Issue

This lesson covers the final expression of Tai Chi energy: sinking to gravity to gather power, then issuing it through the whole body without physical force. You learn to drop incoming force into your center, uproot your partner from beneath their feet, and release transformed energy so it moves their core and pelvis—not just their upper body. This phase ties together all previous skills to produce clean, powerful issuing.

Issuing | 8 Energies

This lesson shows how to apply the eight Tai Chi energies once all foundational skills are in place. You learn to read a partner’s structure, force, and intent, then issue the appropriate energy—ward-off, rollback, pluck, split, and more—based on what their body and mind are giving you. Different people resonate with different energies, and the skill is selecting and issuing the right one instantly through perception, not technique.

Taichi " The Great Polarity"

This lesson explains the highest principle behind all Tai Chi energies: the interplay of form and formlessness. You learn how yin–yang ultimately becomes Ether/akasha and light, and how stillness, surrender, and awareness give you access to these states. The lesson shows how form and formlessness can be applied in partner work—absorbing force into emptiness, expressing force through light—and how these principles translate beyond martial arts into personal, mental, and spiritual development.

I'm Dinesh Kumar.

I teach Tai Chi the same way I approach martial arts, physical therapy, Qi Gong, and Hermetic training — through clear principles, direct application, and embodied understanding.

After years of studying multiple systems, one truth became obvious:
everything works when the principles are correct — body, energy, and consciousness included.

Tai Chi De-Mystified is built on that foundation.
No mysticism. No vague language. Just structure, fascia, intent, energy mechanics, and the consciousness principles that make Tai Chi a true path of development.

My goal is simple:
to give you the real internal mechanics and the deeper energetic awareness behind Tai Chi, so you can train your body, sharpen your mind, and elevate your state of consciousness through disciplined practice.

Tai Chi isn’t choreography — it’s a principle-based system for physical mastery and inner evolution.

And when you understand those principles, everything changes.
